Bottle Top Can Topper Turns Your Can Into a Bottle!

Category: Kitchen and Cookingadmin @ 4:43 pm

Bottle Tops Can Toppers are made to convert your open soda, beer, or energy drink can into a bottle and save money by keeping drinks from spilling or going flat. This is one of those inventions that falls into the “Why didn’t I think of that?” category. So simple, yet so brilliant. I haven’t tried them yet, but they are on my list of products to investigate, and here’s why:

I don’t know about you, but we weren’t allowed to drink much soda growing up, and we weren’t allowed to waste money either. Among other things this meant that you were only allowed to have half a can of soda when you got home from school, but there were three of us kids. So, there was always half a can of soda left over, and someone had to drink that the next day. I know, how sad. Even though the flat soda tasted terrible, it didn’t matter – nothing went to waste. You would think I would have been the first person to invent some way to keep soda bubbly, but at least someone got around to it. Introducing, Bottle Tops Can Toppers, As Seen on TV.

I still don’t drink much soda these days, and I still don’t want to waste money, so the BottleTop Can Savers strike me as really practical for almost everyone. Perfect for picnics, parties and barbeques – the set comes in a variety of colors so your guests will always know which can is theirs, and Bottle-Top keeps out bugs and prevents loss of carbonation if they like to hold onto their drinks for a while.

Bottle Top Can Covers fit on any size can, large or small and are perfect for kids, running errands, at the gym, or in the car. BottleTop’s leak-proof seal prevents spilling accidentally, and the easy open bottle will save your nails from difficult to open can tabs.

Bottle Top Can Toppers are reusable and dishwasher safe, which is huge for me (soda gets so STICKY!) - no mess and no hassle. Great for families, offices, car trips, or just around the home. Order now to receive a free Can Popper

Dreamy Mister Steamy, From Wrinkled Clothes Please Free Me!

Category: Home and Gardenadmin @ 11:34 pm

Can Mister Steamy really harness the wrinkle releasing power of steam in a simple clothes dryer? Imagine never having to iron again! Sounds like a dream right? A dream dreamed on wrinkle-free sheets as smooth as the ones you find in a luxury hotel, no less.

I have never been a fan of ironing. I have never actually even had a full-sized ironing board. I did have one of those mini ones on two inch legs that let you iron about a three-inch square of fabric at a time. Not that I did it often, or well, board or no board. One especially unfortunate incident occurred when I attempted to use my very kind and understanding former roommate’s coffee table as a makeshift ironing board, and left a bleached-out iron-shaped heat stain on the wood, permanently…. Notice I said “former roomate.”

So this leads me to wonder about this Mister Steamie I’ve been seeing on TV commercials. It is a dryer ball that you simply spray with water and toss into the dryer – it heats up as the dryer heats up and activates the steam. It also comes with a bottle of fabric freshener called “Fresh Shot” for when you just need to freshen something up real quick (like when you haven’t had time to do the laundry and realize there is nothing clean to wear to work, for example – not that I have ever had that happen, lol). Seems like it could help save a few days between dry cleaner visits and help save some money there too.

When you think about it, dryers made with built-in steam technology are pretty expensive, so Mister Steamy could help save quite a bit of money if it can bring the wrinkle-releasing power of steam to any household clothes dryer. I think I will be investigating the claims of Mister Steamie one day soon, especially at the low price of only $19.95 plus shipping and handling.

FYI, if you order now you get another Mister Steamy and a bonus bottle of Fresh Shot FREE, just pay extra shipping and handling.

PediPaws Pet Nail Trimmer Is Another Way to Save Money

This is the story of how PediPaws managed to save us almost $500 a year and helped us to get more involved in the care of our pets. I am always looking for ways to save money, as I am sure everyone is these days, but one area I will not cut corners in is the health and care of our animals.

One of our pets in particular is a special case – she is a twelve year old mixed breed named G, and she has a weakened immune system due to Cushing’s disease.  Her medication and vet visits are expensive, along with her specialized diet, but we would never dream of not giving her everything she needs.  Up until recently, that included getting her professionally groomed.

Lately though, since she has gotten older, her immune system has gotten weaker and it has been harder for her to fight even simple infections, which means she can’t really be around most other dogs.  Case in point, the last time I took her to the groomer she contracted pyoderma, a bacterial skin condition, and she is still fighting it off so right now I can’t take her out anywhere.

I have no problem bathing and grooming her at home, she has pretty short hair, but I can NOT cut my dog’s nails.  Those pet nail clippers you have to use look like a torture device; I can’t use them at all. My husband has been able to trim her nails once or twice, but the last time he tried he cut her too close to the quick and she really yelped in pain – there was actually some bleeding; he couldn’t do it again after that. We needed some kind of pain-free nail trimmer. That’s when I saw a commercial for Pedi-Paws and decided to give it a try.

PediPaws is the inexpensive and safe way to groom your pet.

Pedi Paws is a battery-operated spinning emery band that gently files nails instead of cutting them, and it costs about $20 plus shipping and handling – cheaper than one visit to the pet groomer.  When it arrived we decided to try it immediately.

So, G is pretty hyper due to her condition, which causes increased adrenaline, but she was not at all nervous around the PediPaw – it emits a low buzzing sound, like an electric toothbrush.  I was able to trim her nails by myself; she just sat in my arms and let me do each paw. If you have a larger dog or a very nervous dog it might be easier with two people, but I had no trouble with my 50lb dog. In fact, I know she was much happier having me do it, so for her it was way better than going to the dog groomer, and it is definitely less worrisome for me. As a bonus, at $40 a month, we figure Pedi Paws pet nail trimmer saves us almost $500/year. Not bad for an As Seen on TV product!
